Shake Shoppe in Gallipolis

Not bad for a quick ice cream stop. The kitchen staff was all on their phones and seemed annoyed by our orders.

The food is always delicious and very filling..

Kinda expensive, didnt care for their chicken dinners, or some sandwiches, ice cream products are okay.

I went there to try to enjoy a mint chocolate shake and was introduced to a rude female worker, I honestly cried inside she was so mean to me. :(

Old fashioned food and icecream shop. Comparable to a Dairy Queen with the menu items but the taste and make up of the items are different. I thought it was a better overall flavor of icecream than DQ. I have'nt tried the food yet so I may comment again if I ever eat their food, which I would like to try some day. I did like the design of there building. Overall a neat place with fair prices to stop for a treat or some quick grub.

Very friendly and family oriented. If you want good place to eat, this should be the place to stop and grab a bite.

Can't beat a stuftshirt!

This place was very cool. I dont know if they have daily specials or if I was just lucky but a great 1/4 lb. burger, The Stuftshirt, for around $1.50!! After discovering this gem I dont know why anyone in this town would ever eat at one of the chain fast food restaurants here! Shake Shoppe is the best food and the best prices. I'm sure many great memories are made by families here!

Recieved soured soup beans, returned my fries for hot ones the kid dumped my fries back in the bin and said he would bring them out when done. Ugg

$6.70 for 8 jalapeno cheese bites? I think that is absolutely absurd. The restroom was dirty, as well as the dining room. The cashier wasn't friendly. The only reason I paid is because my pregnant girlfriend had a craving.

Makes a great cheese burger and only 4 bucks can't beat the deals

Was busy but was served in a timely manner and they was very polite. I love this place

Ordered the hot fudge cake. It was fantastic. I wish it had a little more cake, but at $3.25, I can't complain. I substituted whipped cream for caramel sauce. I have no regrets.

After running around greenhouses on a hot, sunny day we wanted ice cream.. Shake Shoppe sounded perfect. The ice cream part was but the hot dog and hamburger not so much. Neither of them hot..they were barely warm. The French fries were steaming hot and tasted great! The cashier was just a warm body she didn't crack a smile or offer pleasantries..not even "thank you and have a nice day". The building is old, dated and in need of a few repairs but seemed clean. The music was great and not blasting so loud you couldn't carry on a conversation.

Best place around to eat. Always get their bacon cheeseburgers with seasoned fries and a peanut butter milkshake and their food has never disappointed. Also love the out dated style of the restaurant. Highly reccomend!

The air conditioning isn't working very good it was 85 degrees in there but service was still good need to fix the air for the employees

Visited Shake Shoppe on 2nd Avenue in Gallipolis, OH and the food is terrific and prices are good for the great tasting food receive. Love their chicken strips & Black Raspberry milkshakes. Many great options to choose from makes it hard to decide what to get. If you haven't ever tried it it's worth the stop!!!

I wish we had something like this in my home town. The food was diner food. It was cheap, good, and there was plenty of it. The service was fast and friendly. It was the perfect place to stop for lunch on a long road trip. They appear to have daily specials which are ridiculously cheap.

Fast, Friendly, Clean, Inexpensive. I got the Stuftshirt burger, homemade cheese sauce on a grilled burger with all the fixins. Delish! The icecream sundaes are a dream. Please give it a try. We'll definitely be back!

Good food and nostalgic atmosphere!

The food was expensive.For 2 hamburger meals,and a hot dog meal with fries and drinks, it was over $24.00 for 3 of us and the fries was over cooked and hotdogs wasn't cooked enough. Asked for sauce and mustard on the hotdog and they barley put any sauce on.Will not be going back there at all!!!

Took my son for lunch today. We both had footlong hotdogs. I love shake shoppe hotdogs sauce!! Their stuffed shirts are also delicious.

Today was my first time eating here (many people have suggested it but I rarely go to Gallipolis). The food was good (I had chicken tenders) but the milkshake was amazing!! I'm looking forward to going back and trying one of their hot dogs! It has a pretty cool retro atmosphere.
